These images do not claim to be complete photographic works in their own right.
My camera is my aide memoire, a note-book or kind of sketch book. I perversely take delight in the statement that, 'the camera never lies'. My friends know that I indulge at times in some serious Adobe Photoshop imagery. It feels good every now and then to confound them with imagery that bears no computer aided manipulation - its just a simple phottie.
In my camera note-taking it is also a salutary experience, to come across the sheer beauty of incidental marks made by time, abrasion and passing grafitti artists. A mixture of extreme weather, material decomposition, political protest, insult and declarations of love or fury.
